Holding an Executive MBA in Finance & Management, and a Social Sciences Master’s Degree in Psychology, Maria Zarrraga is passionate about unlocking people’s and organizations’ potential in a profound way, and bringing them to the next level. She displays more than 20 years experience in both public and private sectors, including multinationals, SMEs and United Nations specialized agencies.

She notably coached and mentored numerous executives, professionals and entrepreneurs, since more than 18 years, based on a unique and very pragmatic approach, to develop their own careers, organizations and businesses in alignment with their values. She hence witnessed, thanks to her approach, numerous talented professionals land meaningful jobs, reorient themselves, step into the right career path and thrive professionally – sometimes in very complex situations, job markets and environments.

As Founder of ForWaves Academy, and Managing Director of ForWaves Consulting, a Change Management consulting firm and international platform of experts, I have been there, wondering if founding my company was the right choice. I took sometimes unconventional decisions as an employee and executive throughout my career.  Although it took courage and determination, and the journey was challenging, these decisions happened to be fully aligned with who I truly am and what I am meant to do.
